# Install (/docs/install)



ccsync is distributed through Homebrew for now.

```bash
brew tap opencoredev/cc-sync https://github.com/opencoredev/cc-sync
brew install --HEAD opencoredev/cc-sync/ccsync
```

This installs the `ccsync` command and builds the CLI from the current `main` branch. The formula uses Bun to build the CLI bundle.

## Verify [#verify]

```bash
ccsync --version
ccsync --help
```

## Upgrade [#upgrade]

The current formula is HEAD-only. To pull the newest commit:

```bash
brew update
brew reinstall --HEAD opencoredev/cc-sync/ccsync
```

## Requirements [#requirements]

The Homebrew formula installs Bun as a dependency. You do not need to install Node, npm, pnpm, or yarn to use the CLI.
